Choose from beloved holiday characters—Reindeer, Elf, Snowman, Yeti, or Gingerbread Person—and face whimsical, wintry challenges as you flip through the pages of your book.

How to Play:

• As you read, each page number determines your fate:
  • Odd Pages: Face a festive Challenge! Roll a d6 to see if you succeed, drawing inspiration for the obstacle from the first noun on the page (e.g., "storm" might mean braving a blizzard, while "shadow" could be a mischievous winter spirit). If you fail, you lose 1 Holiday Cheer (HP).
  • Even Pages: Receive a Gift from Santa! Find the first adjective on the page to inspire a magical item or power, such as a "sparkling scarf" or a "warm lantern." These gifts grant special bonuses based on the character you’ve chosen.

Holiday Cheer (HP):

• Start with 10 Cheer Points. If your cheer drops to 0, your character is depleted and must rest at the North Pole for 5 chapters to recover 5 Cheer Points before returning to the adventure.

Choose Your Character: Each character brings their own unique holiday magic to the game:

• Reindeer: Fleet-footed and daring, perfect for leaping over icy obstacles.
• Elf: Clever and crafty, turning simple gifts into extraordinary tools.
• Snowman: Frosty and resilient, tough enough to weather any storm.
• Yeti: Strong and protective, with the ability to scare off winter foes.
• Gingerbread Person: Sweet and spry, dodging danger with sugar-coated speed.

Progression: Every time you overcome a challenge or receive a gift, mark a snowflake on your bookmark. After 10 snowflakes, you level up and earn a festive title like “Snow Seeker,” “Frost Finder,” or “Holiday Hero.” Leveling up restores 3 Cheer Points and upgrades your character's abilities for tougher challenges ahead.
